The hiring process for the Athletic Director will take place between November and December 2024. 

Yes. Interested parents should contact the building principal Raquel Martinez who can connect them to the right entity who will guide parents through the process of establishing a booster club. 

The Superintendent Student Action Council has been used to collect student voice.  In addition, a Principal’s Student Action Council will be formed between December 2024 and January 2025 to ensure student input is incorporated. 

• Sageview parents will be added to ParentSquare between December and January 2025. 

• A Parent Advisory Group will also be established during this time. 

• The principal will attend specific Soup with the Sup and Mornings with Michelle sessions to engage with parents. View the Meet the Superintendent webpage for a list of dates and locations. 

Varsity football games will be played at Edgar Brown Stadium.

If you are interested in transferring your student to a different high school, we have a zone transfer process in place. Zone transfers will be open from November 1 through December 31, 2024. If one of the signature programs at one of our other high schools interests you,  please complete the zone transfer request form online. You can also review our updated Zone Transfer Procedure for more information.

No, current juniors will complete their senior year at their existing school. Sageview will open with grades 9, 10, and 11 only.

Sageview High School
At Sageview High School, we are excited to offer a broad range of engaging academic programs and signature courses tailored to meet our students’ diverse interests and career goals. For example, Sageview High School will feature specialized signature programs in Agriculture Science.  

• Agriculture Science Program: This program will provide hands-on experiences in plant and animal science, environmental management, and agribusiness. The program emphasizes precision agriculture, merging traditional practices with technology and mechanical systems. This program is further strengthened through a partnership with RDO Equipment Co., providing students with real-world industry exposure.

Pasco High School  

• Law and Public Safety: This is a new career pathway made possible by a partnership with the Pasco Police Department and is ideal for students interested in careers in law enforcement, criminal justice, and emergency response. Topics covered include criminal justice, forensics, and legal studies, with training in critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Automotive Technology: This program introduces students to vehicle repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. Students learn about automotive systems, electrical components, and engine repair through hands-on training. Partnerships with local dealerships and repair shops provide work-based learning opportunities for those interested in automotive careers.

Chiawana High School   

• Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM): Chiawana’s STEM program combines science, engineering, and mathematics, with a focus on design, production, and innovation. Students work on projects using tools like 3D printers and CAD software, preparing them for careers in engineering, manufacturing, and industrial design.
• Information Technology (IT):  The IT Program covers IT fundamentals, including networking, cybersecurity, and software development. Students learn coding, database management, and hardware troubleshooting. In partnership with Columbia Basin College, students in their junior and senior years can attend courses on campus to earn advanced certifications and even associate’s degrees in cybersecurity and technology.

Each signature program offers specialized training aligned with local industry needs, helping students develop practical skills and early exposure to potential career paths. These programs provide students with a solid foundation to pursue both college and career options.  
  

For families interested in Delta High School or Orion High School, the lottery process will open in January 2025. This will be your opportunity to apply for these specialized schools, which offer unique programs focused on STEM and career pathways.   
  
In January, we will also hold presentations for students and parents to provide more detailed information about the programs offered. More communication about the application process, parent meetings, and deadlines will be shared soon.

Please note that all students must have an assigned boundary high school, even if they are applying to Delta or Orion, in case they are not selected in the lottery.  

Yes, Sageview High School will offer a full range of music programs, just like those available at Pasco High School and Chiawana High School.
